Free basic translation requires no registration and does not count toward AI usage. The browser sends only the text to translate and the target language directly to a basic translation service (currently Microsoft or Google, with automatic switching); it does not pass through YaoAI’s Cloudflare AI gateway or use conversation context, personal styles or your library. Free does not mean offline: network, regional and third-party service limits apply, and translation quality is basic. Failure never automatically calls paid AI. AI features retain the existing trial, usage-pack or unlocked own-key rules.
This policy applies to the YaoAI website, the YaoAI Whats browser extension, and related account access, device authorization, AI uses and developer APIs. YaoAI Whats is an independent product and is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.
YaoAI Whats provides a browser extension, accounts, device access, AI uses, a one-time professional unlock and developer APIs as digital services. Eligible new accounts receive one-time trial uses. After a purchase is completed, the relevant uses, device allowance or professional access is delivered automatically. Current plans are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal.
Usage packs cover the included AI service. While uses are valid and remain, they provide context translation, AI Reply, AI Q&A, personal style learning, the local library and quoted replies. Usage packs do not include your own API key or custom models; those features require the one-time professional unlock. When using your own API, you are responsible for complying with the chosen provider’s terms and fees.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a customer. Before sending, check prices, specifications, lead times, payment terms, legal language and other commercial commitments. The extension does not send messages on your behalf and does not guarantee sales, continuing availability of third-party services or the correctness of AI output.
You may not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, harassing, spam-related or limit-circumvention activity. Where there is a reasonable security, abuse or payment risk, we may suspend the related account, uses or device authorization.
